FOUNDER & LEAD EDUCATOR

Every strong standard begins with a reason. BHSA began with one.

BHSA equips beauty professionals with essential hygiene, safety, and professional responsibility.

But the academy was not created from theory — it was built from experience.

I am both a CIDESCO-certified cosmetologist and a registered nurse, with professional experience that includes clinical and intensive care environments. This dual background has shaped how I see hygiene, risk, and responsibility in beauty practice.

Over the years — as a salon owner, Master Trainer, and educator — I visited countless studios and schools, both nationally and internationally. I met talented professionals who cared deeply about their clients, yet often worked without clear, structured safety systems.

I began asking a difficult question:

How can we expect consistent professional standards if the guidance itself is inconsistent?

In the beauty industry, hygiene is sometimes reduced to appearance rather than procedure. Protective equipment is used incorrectly. Risk is underestimated. Even regulatory inspections can lack clear, industry-specific frameworks.

Not because people don’t care —
but because structured, practical systems are missing.

BHSA was created to bridge that gap.

To translate clinical-level safety thinking into realistic studio practice.
To replace guesswork with clarity.
To make safety repeatable — not accidental.

The academy reflects decades of hands-on work, clinical understanding, education, and collaboration within the beauty field. It continues to grow through our flagship certification and future guest educators who share the same commitment to responsibility, structure, and sustainable professional standards..
